My sophomore year of high school was an interesting one. My first freshman year was heavily marked by angst and my second freshman year was demoted to a general dull happiness. As a sophomore, however, there was a comedy present that took place of tragedy and I saw the humor in it all. My friend, Nolan, and I joined a Media Studies class and decided to attempt to make the most depressing shorts possible – angling the angst as hard as we could despite not actually being depressed anymore.

This is possibly the most angsty video I ever made. Also my friend had a hard time spelling… I probably should have done the editing there.

A short film about a drug addled guy doing random things. It was a student project meant to explore various filmmaking techniques that was heavily inspired by Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

This is by no means a glorification nor condemnation of drug use. I was a teenager when this was created and this is a fun little insight into the thoughts at that day and age. It should be noted that I was completely drug-free when making this short film and was in no way pro-drugs.
